It is a clear cover lens used in welding face protection to protect the shaded filter lens from spatter, extending the filter's life.
It measures 108 x 82.5mm.
Yes, it is manufactured to EN166.
A clear cover lens sits in front of the shaded filter so that spatter and debris hit the cheaper, replaceable clear lens rather than the filter itself.
Replace the clear lens whenever it becomes pitted, scratched or covered in spatter enough to reduce visibility, as it is intended as a sacrificial protective layer.
