02 — Fumex at work
The same arms, in four very different rooms: welding bays, laboratories, ATEX-classified sites and vehicle workshops. What changes is the hose, the material and the certification, not the principle: capture it at the source, before it reaches anyone's lungs.

Wrong arm, and you are just moving the problem around the room. External joints and aluminium construction keep the pressure drop low and hold the arm exactly where you put it, so the difference between these is the environment, not the engineering.

In most cases, yes. The arms are sized by hose diameter, from 75mm to 200mm. Tell us the model of your current filter or fan and the duct size and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
Yes. The PSR EXD and PR EXD ranges are rated for combustible dust, and the PR EXC range for gas and chemical vapour with a chemical-resistant polyethylene hose. Which one applies depends on your zone classification, so confirm it with us rather than working from the product page alone.
An arm is positioned by the operator over each job, so it suits work that moves or is too big to sit on a bench. A back-draft table like the TW has extraction built into the bench itself. There's nothing to reposition, which is the right answer where the same repetitive job is done all day.
