STANVAC 7018 low-hydrogen electrodes are designed for high-strength welding of carbon and low-alloy steels where crack resistance and weld integrity are critical, producing low-hydrogen deposits that help reduce the risk of hydrogen-induced cracking. They deliver a smooth, stable arc, good mechanical properties and a clean weld profile, and are commonly used in structural steelwork, fabrication, maintenance and repair.
