Yes, it is designed to be compatible with Kemper SmartMaster extraction units in addition to ProtectoXtract systems. It is not manufactured, endorsed or approved by Kemper GmbH; the name is used only to identify compatibility.
It is an F9 class filter, suited to fine welding-fume particulate. Pairing it with an M5 pre-filter helps protect it and extend its service life.
