SIF Options Myking Electrode Holder - 200/400/600Amps
It's a popular-design electrode holder for MMA (stick) welding, holding the electrode and carrying the welding current to it during welding.
Three models are offered, rated at 200A, 450A and 600A maximum, so you can match the holder to your machine's output and the work.
As a general rule, choose a holder whose maximum rating comfortably covers the current you weld at, so it isn't run at its limit. Higher-rated models suit heavier, higher-current work.
The holder connects to your welding lead; check that your cable size and the electrode diameters you use match the holder's rating. Contact us if you need help matching it to your setup.
This product is the electrode holder itself. It's the component that clamps the electrode at the working end of your welding lead.
