It is a replacement pre-filter cassette for ProtectoXtract extraction systems, capturing coarser welding fumes and airborne particles before they reach the main filter. This pre-filtration stage helps prolong the life of the more expensive main filter.

The cassette measures 484mm x 484mm x 48mm and is an M5 class pre-filter. Check these against your existing filter housing before ordering to confirm the fit.
It is specified for systems running at a volume flow of 3500m³/hr. This matches the ProtectoXtract and compatible SmartMaster extraction duties.
As a wear part, a pre-filter is changed once it becomes loaded and airflow or extraction performance begins to drop. Replacement intervals depend on how heavily and how often you weld, so inspect it regularly as part of routine maintenance.
