STANVAC economy stainless steel electrodes manufactured to the AWS A5.4 E316L-16 classification, designed for welding 316 and 316L austenitic stainless steels where improved resistance to corrosion and pitting is required. They deliver smooth arc performance and consistent weld quality, with a low-carbon composition that helps minimise carbide precipitation and improves corrosion resistance in welded joints. Supplied vacuum packed (VP) to protect against moisture, they are suitable for AC and DC welding in fabrication, maintenance and repair applications.
