SuperStrike is a special-formula, blue-tip hybrid tungsten designed to give improved performance and safety over thoriated types in DC, plus better arc stability in AC. They're a good option if you want an alternative to thoriated electrodes.
They're formulated to give better AC arc stability across a 0–300 Amp current range, making them versatile for a wide spread of TIG work.
SuperStrike tungstens are offered in three diameters: 1.6mm, 2.4mm and 3.2mm. Choose the diameter to match your amperage and material thickness.
