Tungsten electrodes, 150mm long, used to strike and maintain a TIG welding arc. Available in red-tip Thoriated for DC negative work on mild steel, stainless steel and similar metals; white-tip Zirconiated for AC work on aluminium and similar metals; grey-tip Ceriated for AC/DC use across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals with excellent ignition; and black-tip (1%) or gold-tip (1.5%) Lanthanated for AC/DC use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals with good re-ignition. Pure tungsten (green-tip) is also available.

SIF Options Zirconiated Tungsten Electrodes (Brown) 0.8–4.0mm
They are zirconiated tungsten electrodes used to strike and maintain a TIG welding arc. Zirconiated tungsten is typically used for AC welding of aluminium.
They are available in 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.6mm, 2.4mm, 3.2mm and 4.0mm.
They are 150mm long.
Different tungsten compositions suit different jobs and are colour-coded. Zirconiated is generally used for AC aluminium work, while thoriated, ceriated, lanthanated and pure tungsten cover other metals and applications; ask us if you're unsure which to pick.
Electrode diameter is generally matched to the current and material thickness you're welding, so pick the size that suits your amperage range.
