SIF Options EN166 Polycarbonate Cover Lens — 98x66mm
They are strong, clear safety plates used in flip-up head shields, fitted behind the filter to protect the eyes and the filter. They meet EN166.
Polycarbonate is a tough, impact-resistant clear plastic, which is why these plates are described as strong and suited to flip-up shields. As with any cover plate, replace it when it becomes scratched or marked.
They come in many sizes, including 97x66mm, 110x60mm, 110x90mm, 110x97mm, 112x91mm, 133x114mm, 114x133mm, 108x50mm, 108x82.5mm, 94x45mm, 95x45mm and 95x47mm. Measure your shield aperture to select the correct fit.
In a flip-up head shield it fits behind the filter as a clear safety plate, so the wearer's eyes remain protected when the shaded filter is flipped up.
They meet EN166, the European standard for personal eye protection.
