This ceramic backing material is supplied in 60cm strips on self-adhesive aluminium tape, enabling welding to be carried out from one side with full penetration. It removes the need to weld from the reverse side, helps reduce oxidation, and does not create hydrogen inclusion, improving operation economy on every weldable metal. The adhesive tack is rated up to 250C, and the tile is suitable for an average operating temperature of 800C.

Ceramic Backing Tape, 60cm Strip
SIFCERAMIBAC strips enable welding from one side with full penetration, so you don't have to weld from the reverse. This is the 14mm square-groove version on 600mm strips.
It can be used with every weldable metal, making it a versatile backing solution across a range of materials.
The self-adhesive aluminium tape is rated for adhesive tack up to 250°C, and the ceramic tile is suitable for an average operating temperature of 800°C.
It removes the need to weld from the reverse side, helps reduce oxidation, does not create hydrogen inclusion, and speeds up the job to improve operation economy.
