Meet Graeme - Technical Advisor at Weldability
Dr Graeme Barritte — The Doctor Senior Lecturer, Cranfield University Graeme Barrett is a part-time lecturer on the Welding MSc course at Cranfield University and a technical advisor at Weldability. With extensive experience in welding metallurgy and welding engineering, he provides technical support, guidance, and practical advice, helping customers and the Weldability team solve welding challenges with confidence.

My name is Graeme Barrett. I'm currently employed on a part-time basis at Cranfield University, where I lecture on the Welding MSc course. I previously worked at Weldability over 10 years ago, so I have a good understanding of the company as a whole, and the products and services that they offer.
My role with them now is to advise, support, and guide the team when issues arise. I have a strong background in welding metallurgy and welding engineering, combined with a passion for golf and being a lifelong Sunderland supporter. A key role for me at Weldability is technical backup and support.
I'd readily admit I don't know all of the answers, but I probably know somebody who does, and that's where I think I can become particularly useful. Happy to help if I can in any way.
