SIFTRODE 7018 is a basic-coated, low-hydrogen mild steel electrode with a recovery of around 120%, giving excellent welding characteristics and a weld deposit with very low hydrogen content (below 5ml/100g). It is designed for welding construction steels and fine-grained steels with increased yield strength, and is vacuum packed to preserve its low-hydrogen properties.
