The ProtectoVac MAX is a highly portable extraction unit designed specifically to extract and filter metal particulate fumes arising from welding processes, suited to use in the workshop, demonstration training bay, garage and on site. It features a 'Dust Stop' semi-automatic cleaning system that lets the operator clean the filter simply by lifting the flap on the chamber, a 15 litre detachable dust collection chamber with handle, a 2.5m hose and nozzle with magnetic base, and a metal pre-filter to stop sparks. It is available in 110V or 230V, with castors fitted for easy manoeuvrability.

ProtectoVac Max Portable Fume Extraction Unit — 230V
It is a highly portable high-vacuum extraction unit designed to extract and filter metal particulate fumes from welding processes directly at source. It weighs around 32kg and suits the workshop, training bay, garage and on-site use.
The specification lists MIG and TIG welding, with the unit designed to extract fumes and dust at the source.
It features a Dust Stop semi-automatic cleaning system that lets the operator clean the filter simply by lifting the flap on the chamber. The main filter itself is a replaceable (non-cleanable) type.
It comes with a 15-litre detachable dust collection chamber with a handle, so collected material can be emptied easily.
It provides a volume flow of 180m³/hr from a 1.0kW motor, rated to M Class filter efficiency, with a 150mm hose diameter. It uses the EXTSVAC03 filter, with a 3-5 year life depending on use.
