SIF SIFTRODE Mild Steel MMA Electrodes — 6013/7018
SIFTRODE Mild Steel MMA electrodes deliver reliable performance for general fabrication, maintenance and structural welding. They come in 6013 and 7018 classifications.
6013 is a rutile-coated electrode for easy, general-purpose welding, while 7018 is a low-hydrogen electrode for stronger, crack-resistant welds. Choose based on whether you need general work or higher-strength joints.
They are available in 1.6mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm and 5mm diameters, in 2.5kg and 5kg packs. Select the diameter to match your material thickness and amperage.
Use the low-hydrogen 7018 when you need stronger, more crack-resistant welds, such as on thicker or more critical fabrication. For everyday general work, 6013 is easier to run.
These are supplied in standard packaging suitable for everyday workshop and site use. A vacuum-packed version is available separately if you need extra moisture protection.
