Hello everyone, Nathan from Extractability here. " Honestly, it's the capture distance. " The industry standard for most machines is a capture distance of about 1 foot (300 mm).
However, many customers expect much greater distances. They expect to be able to position their extraction hood here and have it capture fumes all the way over there, but that's simply not feasible. You could achieve a greater capture distance by installing a motor that's twice as powerful, but then you'd have issues with increased noise, as well as the sheer volume of airflow interfering with the work process.
