What's the biggest mistake you see experienced welders make?

What's the biggest mistake I see experienced welders making? Probably using too little heat input or setting the amperage too low. An experienced welder will make a professional judgement, but until the weld is physically tested, you can't be certain it has achieved full penetration.

So, if I had to pick one common mistake, it would be not using enough amps.
